Johnston Group hires Palm Beach Gardens Planning Manager

JUPITER – Johnston Group Land Development Consultants, Inc. is pleased to announce that
Michael J. Sanchez has joined its team of development professionals.

Michael J. Sanchez joins Johnston Group after four years of service in the City of Palm Beach Gardens Growth Management Department, most recently as Planning Manager. Through the tremendous amount of recent growth in Palm Beach Gardens, Mr. Sanchez directly oversaw the approval process for numerous and often complex land development projects including much of the commercial space currently under construction along PGA Boulevard. Prior to working for Palm Beach Gardens, he worked as a Planner in the City of West Palm Beach Planning Services Department. Mr. Sanchez holds a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University and is an accredited member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). At Johnston Group, Mr. Sanchez will be using his extensive experience to work directly with the firm’s clients to oversee the design, entitlement and permitting process for projects throughout South Florida.
